Detailed

Clients need to make sure we are given all the correct details in terms of address, scope of work, etc.

By starting a campaign with Kato360 and settling the 1st invoice you fully agree with our T&C’s.

1. Client Information & Access

We will need access to the following:

NOTE: From commencement (invoice settled for month one and info sent), each client has 21 days to help us get month 1 completed. We’ve had campaigns delayed because we were still waiting for client info/feedback.

2. SERanking

(We are also busy looking at Agency Analytics and might move reporting to https://agencyanalytics.com/)

https://www.seranking.com — This is the software we use to track keyword ranking on Google. Each client also gets a unique URL where you can track progress anytime (rankings typically update once per week, usually Sunday).

Rankings fluctuate like any “graph”—they go up and down depending on many factors (Google updates, user behavior, site changes, etc.). Please remember SEO is a waiting game: most campaigns run 6–12 months and many continue beyond. Some campaigns can show movement as early as month 2.

3. Invoices

Invoices are normally sent around the 20th of each month, to be settled no later than the 1st of the new month. We bill monthly as stipulated here, regardless of how long it takes to receive initial info (common). We don’t do hourly billing; we bill per calendar month because each campaign has a defined scope for that month.

  • No long-term contracts.
  • Budgets up to $499: 1 calendar month notice.
  • $500–$1499: 2 calendar months notice.
  • $1500+: 3 calendar months notice. (Penalty may apply if insufficient notice.)

Media rooms will also be cancelled/removed upon termination, which may or may not affect rankings. We determine a campaign length before we start; campaigns run until we receive written notice of cancellation for all services. We can onboard new campaigns up to the 12th of each month to still work within month 1. No refunds.

4. Reporting (manual reporting is being phased out in 2024)

After month 1, you’ll get up to two reports monthly between the 26th and the 10th (most between the 26th and month-end):

  • Manual Report from Kato360 explaining work completed in the previous month. Manual reports are typically sent until your website begins ranking (usually months 3–6), then we switch to automated only.
  • Automated Report from SERanking. (Weekly automated stats can also be enabled.)

You can WhatsApp or email us anytime with questions.

We report on Technical SEO, On-page Optimization, Content, and Backlinks (in initial manual reports; backlinks typically month 1–2, except Media Rooms). SE Ranking’s reports follow industry standards.

5. Campaign Layout / Structure — Month 1 + Months 2–4+

(Our framework is evolving to deliver even better results.) For a basic overview of what we do in the first few months, see: https://kato360.growthclicks.co.za/seo-case-studies/

6. Content Creation

All content is created using AI (mostly ChatGPT) along with other platforms.

Note about AI content: Google can detect AI-generated content; it does not penalize AI content by default, but it does penalize poor content. Human review to elevate, fact-check, and ensure originality is key.
