Search Engine Optimization.

Organic SEO or GBP SEO (Google Maps). There is a difference between the 2 options but they do work really well together. GBP SEO is where you rank on Google Maps (snack pack) (#1-3) and Organic SEO is where you rank on Google Page #1-10, preferably between #1 and 3.
GBP SEO normally are quicker to rank and cost slightly less per campaign, but as EACH location with a physical address is run as separate campaign, we charge per location. Organic SEO takes longer but can results in a great amount of traffic and really high conversions, it does take longer and “generally” content is needed monthly per website.

Note, your budget also plays a role in what can be done monthly to get ranked on Google.. (building a house with $1000 are going to give very difference results than building a house with $10 000, silly example but it makes sense)

So how long does SEO take?
(GBP SEO roughly between 1 to 3 months to start seeing results and Organic SEO can take 3-6 months+ to start seeing results) (SEO should be an investment in your business and should be part of a long term holistic marketing strategy. This article also explains it really well!

Google Business Profile (GBP). Even though Google Maps is free, maps are one of the best, easiest and quickest ways to generate more leads if you own a local business or are a service provider. All business should ideally have their location claimed and optimized.

Google Maps and Organic Rankings. This client has excellent rankings both organically (even though we are only focusing in Maps) and in Google Maps. We have also found rankings on Page 1 for the clients Facebook Page for multiple keywords and variations.
If someone searches for a keyword and your website are ranking in Google Maps, Organically and also your Facebook Page (not all clients) you end up with allot of “real estate” on the first page!

(basic) Roadmap.

SEO Roadmap to success (basic). We have had a lot of clients asking to explain how we successfully start a base campaign and rank our clients so well.

Below is a guideline as to how we work, and how we approach each new client. Each website has a different backlink profile, different domain age, built on different platforms (we work mostly on WordPress but also Wix/Weebly or similar), different content, pages etc

But regardless of what a client’s niche or site is, here is what we have found to start getting decent results, this is normally done within 1 to 3 months of a campaign, where we also start with a Backlink Audit, Technical & On-Page in month 1
(of course, all this depends on a clients budget)

Month 1-3

  • Keyword Research
  • Backlink Audit (preferably completed in month 1)
  • Technical SEO (90% of campaigns only needs basics done, if advanced is needed we do talk to the client and spread over 3 months or add additional hours to month 1 or the month we are doing this in)
  • On-Page (preferably completed in month 1)
  • We also start with some link building depending on a clients budget and you are looking at Citations (GBP – Google Business Profile), Foundation Links, Social Profiles, Social Signals, Foundational Web2.0, DAS (domain authority stacking), Press Release (sometimes, not always needed)

Month 4+

  • This is where we bring out the big boyz! 😊
  • Niche Edits
  • Guest Posting
  • (there is a few other link types we also do)
  • We also love doing link building to inner pages of a site, keeping anchor text ratio in mind and we also then start with Backlinks to Backlinks ie we actually also build out Tiered Backlinks (up to 4 tiers) to a sites Social Media pages, to citations, Google Business Profile Posts (yes you can build links to a GBP post), later to their Guest Posts etc and THIS is when SEO gets really fun and you start seeing decent increases (normally month 4 – 6)

To recap, this is only a base strategy & works with for most niches. However there are times that this strategy is only used as an add-on strategy to a predominantly content / blogging strategy for instance. When we look at clients looking to rank for medium to high difficulty keywords nationally or globally… and especially countries like USA, Canada, UK and Australia when tend to go a bit more with well planned content strategy.

Social Signal Media Press Release Strategy via an Enterprise Media Room

The main concept of this strategy is Social Signals to create trust and this is achieved by Press Releases with the 1st attribute going to the clients website (VERY IMPORTANT)

With all Press Releases the 1st indexed press release are attributed to that specific site, so the client’s site do not get the full SEO value, what we are now doing is embedding a script on a clients website for a “media room” and when press releases are done, 1st attribute are to a clients website – MASSIVE difference in ranking results. Combining this with social media creates massive E-EAT signals to Google and that is what we do, create TRUST, a trustworthy site ranks well.
Press Releases are only live around 30 – 60 days normally, we can keep them live around 90-120 days and also planning on bringing in BIG sites like Yahoo News at additional costs
Strategy works quick ie 1 – 3 months and works with Maps and Organic (also for e-Commerce Shops)

Additionaly Twitter posts and Reddit posts can be added at additional costing… Facebook / Linked / Google Business Profile also coming soon

NOTE: SEO is still a long term strategy and should be treated as such it is also NOT a silver bullet or magical strategy, it simply creates TRUST in Google’s eyes.  (once a site ranks Google Rankbrain comes into play so a site should be well optimized for visitors)

The Media Room is installed simply by adding a small bit off code to a website (and each media room needs a location so address, phone etc)
